I love the quote, Tanya! Thank you. And, yes, sun always makes me smile; however, my daughter adores rain–I guess it is all in our perspective. My goal is to learn to look at each day as a gift no matter what it has in store.

I agree that my attitude shapes my day. I could be happy if I want too. What holds me back? Feeling sorry for myself, lack of a good night sleep or wishing my kids lived closer or making their lives easier. Many things come to my mind.But, I do have a wonderful husband, my kids have good jobs, they are healthy and are raising my beautiful grandchildren. Why shouldn’t I be happy! If we open our eyes to the world around us, we can see how much we are blessed. I will pray that God will forgive my selfishness and I will praise him for my many blessings.

Good morning julie I understand the issues that you face are trying and sad and happy all at the same time. How do we continue to live a life of happiness and sadness, without the peace that Christ Jesus can give us? We can’t. My sadness comes from many things that I have no control over. So why do I do this to myself? We are taught to turn things over to God. LET GO LET GOD. Not so easy when it comes to family. We have raised, natured, gave them our life and then they are gone,facing life’s snuggles without us.
