It’s sometimes difficult to be vulnerable. Sometimes people miscontrue the meaning of my words. Sometimes I feel like I have nothing to write. And sometimes I don’t know how to write what I know.
Yet it’s also been a great blessing in many ways, this blogging thing.
- Three years of sharing Jesus’s love as it overflows from Him through me.
- Three years of encouraging you—and me.
- Three years of stretching and growing and changing.
Thank you, dear Lord, for your “grace after grace.” Thank you for entrusting me with sharing this message that your “grace is sufficient.” With your blessing, I’ll continue to offer the Hope you impart to those who are walking through the glorious mess of life. May it always be your way and your truth I present. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!
“Indeed, we have all received grace after grace from His fullness,…” John 1:16

Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I find it's easy for our day's blessings to get lost in its happenings. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).
May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.

I think Julie there are several things, one is attending Bible Study Fellowship for 8 years now. The things I have learned by studying, really studying, the Bible for 9 months out of the year. And it would have to be life experiences, caring for aunt and uncle for about 4 years. They lived about 5 minutes away and I loved every minute I spent with them. My uncle passed away a year ago and my Aunt Dot and I got very close and I grew to love her so much. She passed away almost 3 weeks ago and I felt lost without her, now what would I do? But she is in the arms of Jesus and she’s not in any pain anymore and she can actually breathe and she’s now with all the family that went before her. She was the last of the elders you might say. I learned to give with out getting anything back and to do it in love. Now I have time for that Whitespace, which is a good thing. I’m emotionally and physically exhausted and I know God will give me the strength I need. I will indeed pray for you too. I can use prayer for a big back surgery that was cancelled yesterday due to my blood pressure being too low, a 5 hour surgery! I will go back again in about a week, after my aunts memorial. I believe God’s hand was in the postponement of the surgery, I wasn’t ready yet. I need to rest, grieve and spend as time as possible with the Lord. It’s funny, I just ordered the wonderfully made necklace. Great minds think alike, someone said. And I never thanked you for the book, but I am now and I plan to read it when I’m to the stage in my recuperating when I can think clearly. Thank you so much Julie.
You really have a lot going on in your life, Linda. It’s so important that you look at all these setbacks and delays as events/moments that God will orchestrate for your good. Your outlook is inspiring. May God comfort you as you grieve the loss of your aunt and give you peace for the surgery ahead. Praying for you in the weeks ahead.
Thanks Julie and God bless. After my surgery and recuperation are finished I am thinking about volunteering at a nursing home reading or just talking to some of the residents there who don’t get visitors. That must be such a lonely existence and they have so much you can learn from them. So good luck with your contest, I had trouble with two of the questions.
What a great way to serve, Linda! Good for you.
