The Only True Form of Praise #31DaysofPraise
“To the only God our Savior be
glory, majesty, power and
authority, through Jesus Christ our
LORD, before all ages, now and
forevermore! Amen.”
Jude 1:25
I offer thanks to God. I offer Him my praise.
Giving All
But am I really giving all? Am I really giving Him glory, majesty, power, and authority in all of my life?
I have to admit, I like a bit of power. I like to be in authority, at least a little. As I admitted in the last praise post, I don’t like to admit weakness.
Yet Jude makes it clear, the Lord’s dominion is all of the power and authority and majesty. And more it’s for now and forever!
So I continue to surrender. I continue to intake of the Lord, so I can give it all to Him. Everything! In all of my life!
Through His grace, and only then, is any of this possible.
To Him and only Him be all glory and majesty and power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Take it, Lord, have it all! It’s the only true form of praise.

Reflections: Are you surrendering it all or retaining some, even just a bit of that glory or power, for yourself?

By His Grace,
Julie
Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I find it's easy for our day's blessings to get lost in its happenings. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).
May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.
