Masterpiece of Color

Gold Brush Stroke

God saw it is good Gen1 31

Sometimes this world seems so dark, so black—devoid of color. Then my focus moves to Him and color explodes.

Black and dark is what I make it, not what is intended. The Creator intended for our lives to be colorful. Painted with bright strokes on a beautiful canvas.

I love the beauty when I choose to see it. Greens, yellows, reds, purples, blues—all bursting forth.

He could have designed this world drab, to paint it in hues of browns or grays. Instead the Painter decided to assault our eyes with marvelous sights and colors.

Watch the sunrise, take in the sunset and the beauty of a rainstorm; notice the rosy of our children’s cheeks and noses after playing outside.

Take time to notice.

Take time to open your eyes wide. Go ahead and see the black but let it be a part of the mix, the array of colors that redeems all the darkness.

See it through the eyes of the One, the One who loves you enough to create a masterpiece of color in you and for you!

“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good” (Genesis 1:31).

Such as beautiful reminder of what the Lord did for us … and chose to explode us with an array of colors in our life instead of drab grey s and browns.. Thank you.. it was a sweet reminder of God’s intentional purpose in making us and that He has a specific plan in each of our lives.(I got a chance to write my FMW on Saturday evening here in the Netherlands.)God bless!

Well put, Julie. What a great reminder that if only we will allow the Holy Spirit to keep our eyes opened wide, there is an array of color to be seen even when satan is knocking at our door. The beauty and the promise are always there. They never leave us. Thanks, Julie!
