A Beautiful Picture of Love
An image of love: A little boy follows after his father. Stepping in his footprints. Picking up his habits. Imitating his actions.
He wants to be like his daddy. But growth and maturity and experiences are lacking. Hardships and important milestones are missing.
Fire and pressure, hurricane force winds and gentle breezes, lapping waves and pounding surf haven’t shaped his character yet.
Such molding comes over time with joyful, difficult, and seemingly meaningless experiences combining to carve, smooth, and form. Until that once-child takes on certain characteristics of his daddy.
God’s Love Transforms
…until we children are slowly transformed into an imperfect but glorious image of our heavenly Father.
God uses joyful, difficult, and seemingly meaningless experiences to carve and form us into a clearer image of Him. His love transforms us. Share on X

“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” 2 Corinthians 3:18.

By His Grace,
Julie
Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I find it's easy for our day's blessings to get lost in its happenings. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).
May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.
