A Beautiful Picture of Love

An image of love: A little boy follows after his father. Stepping in his footprints. Picking up his habits. Imitating his actions.

He wants to be like his daddy. But growth and maturity and experiences are lacking. Hardships and important milestones are missing.

Fire and pressure, hurricane force winds and gentle breezes, lapping waves and pounding surf haven’t shaped his character yet.

A beautiful picture of love.

“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” 2 Corinthians 3:18.
Reflection: How are your circumstances transforming you into the Father’s image?
