Gifts to Share

“One must know not just how to accept a gift, but with what grace to share it.”—Maya Angelou

Therefore, I am sharing these with you today.

31. Getting close to a doe and her two fawns.

32. Watching my son doing well in what he loves.

33. A fresh morning after a rain.

34. Hummingbirds at my feeder. hummingbird at feeder

35. Prayer

36. Having words come out all jumbled and laughing about it with my boys.

37. No football practice last night (sorry, Joey).

38. Being able to do my job while sitting on our deck.

39. Red morning sky.

40. Internet (most of the time).

41. Contact lens’ (when they stay in).

42. Inspiration

43. Help destemming wild grapes–thanks, Dave, Zach, and Joey!

44. Having proofreading projects to work on.

45. Making new friends.

Encouraging others can be easy; just share the things that are keeping you going. What are you thankful for? Is it your family or job, or is it something as small as the cup of coffee or tea you enjoyed this morning or a kind word directed your way? I’d love to hear about some of them. Type your thoughts in the comment box at the bottom of this post and click the Post Comment button to share.

Julie, You’ve inspired me to write my own “thankfulness” list. Though I’m not sure it will ever be complete. . . Thanks for the wonderful words of encouragement in your blog. I look forward to every one. Love, Jill

Keeping an attitude of gratitude list has helped me remember not to get caught up in the messiness of life, Jill. Why is it so easy to see the ugliness instead of the beauty? And don’t worry, you won’t be alone in your never-ending list; none of our lists should ever end–God doesn’t run out of blessings. Thanks for blessing me with your encouragement. If you get a chance shoot me your list once in a while. I’d love to read it, or better yet post it on Facebook!
