Let Me Live… #31DaysofPraise

Gold Brush Stroke
“Let me live that I may praise you, and may your laws sustain me.”
Psalm 119:175

May I live to praise You.

Life in Christ

You give us life, Lord! Not so we can make something of ourselves. Not so we can have fun, make money, and be happy.

Those are all fine things in context. But You give us life so we can serve and glorify You, here on earth and forever more!

You offer freedom from the shackles of sin. Your laws are to guide not stifle us. In Your Word rings a freedom we all long for, fulfilled in Jesus’ death and resurrection.

Help us to dig into those words of life poured out for us. Help us to walk in the truth that is pleasing to You Father. Help us offer our worship as a fitting sacrifice for One who offered everything for us.

Sustain us, Lord Jesus, with Your Word, and draw us ever nearer. So our lives can be a never-ending song of praise to You.

Sustain us, Lord, with Your Word; draw us ever nearer. So our lives can be a never-ending song of praise to You. Share on X

Lord, let me live, so I may ever praise You!

Julie Sunne

Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I find it's easy for our day's blessings to get lost in its happenings. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.
