Unspoken Words of Wisdom

Gold Brush Stroke

Words of wisdom don’t always have to be spoken.

Her twinkling eyes catch the glimmer of the raindrop as it strikes the glass. “Hi!” She greets it as if an old friend.

She grins and giggles over what appears to be much of nothing, but which really might be everything.

Her joy is infectious.Victory_reduced

She includes everyone in her circle. Bear hugs and hand-holdings all around.

She welcomes the moon whenever it dares to  make its appearance. And the sun … it gets noticed as soon as it peaks its first rays above the horizon or around the clouds.

She attacks her days with an attention to detail that is astonishing, yet with a generality that leaves little out.

If she could talk what would she say?

Perhaps, that most of us are missing out on the best in our days.

Hug more. Laugh louder. Love deeper. Notice the wonders in each day.

Unspoken words of wisdom from my daughter who makes each of my days brighter.

“Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
‘The Lord has done great things for them.’
The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.” Psalm 126: 2-3

Reflections: Who inspires you to see the glory of each day? How?

Julie Sunne

Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I find it's easy for our day's blessings to get lost in its happenings. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.
