“But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.” Psalm 73:28 Give Witness With the Lord as our shelter, we are in a perfect position to worship, giving witness to all He has done. Yes, how good it…

“Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.” Psalm 119:89-90 The Lord is Steadfast I need to be reminded of God’s steadfastness. His word firmly fixed. His faithfulness enduring forever. His created earth standing fast! I need to…
When Praising God Is Difficult #31DaysofPraise
“Through [Jesus] then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.” Hebrews 13:15 It seems so wrong to say, but sometimes it’s not easy to praise God. The world flips upside down and seems like it will never right itself; then…
The Only True Form of Praise #31DaysofPraise
“To the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our LORD, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.” Jude 1:25 I offer thanks to God. I offer Him my praise. Giving All But am I really giving all? Am I really giving Him glory, majesty, power, and authority in…
Why Being Weak Isn’t So Bad #31DaysofPraise
“If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11…

Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I find it's easy for our day's blessings to get lost in its happenings. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).
May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.
