New Site Launch! [Thank You]

It is a new day and a new year! How wonderful to be celebrating the renewed blessings of our ever-loving Father.

I am excited to be revealing a couple more new items to begin the year: one is the unveiling of this, my new blog site, and another is my recently created Facebook pageThank you for your patience as I took the time necessary to create this space in which to share my thoughts. There may be occasional enhancements added as we move forward. If you notice anything “out of whack” on the site, please bring it to my attention.

My prayer is that both entities bless you with Scriptural truth and encouragement for each day in this world of highs and lows, frustration and confusion.

With the launching of this new site and the FB page, I’m renewing my commitment to follow the Lord’s calling to use my writing to bless others. However, I don’t always see the clear path. And, truthfully, many days I’m filled with doubt as to my abilities and purpose. Yet, that is precisely why I need to continue surging forward, being faithful to that still small voice whispering me on.

I’m not entirely certain what God has in store for me. I’m not sure where He is leading. But there can be no doubt that whatever the destination of this path, it is the one I need to be on. I need to be on His trail, not try to forge one myself.

As we move forward, I will be kicking off the new year by hosting several giveaways, featuring fun and inspiring material by Ann Voskamp, Lysa TerKeurst, and others. The first giveaway will be next Wednesday, January 9, with another each Wednesday through the remainder of the month. Don’t miss out!

You, my dear readers, occupy a special place in my heart. You are the reason I continue my feeble attempt at using words to paint a picture of the great I Am and the live-saving hope we have in Him.

Let’s move forward together into this New Year, as Christian sisters and brothers, loudly and boldly proclaiming the majesty and mercy of our Lord.

“Because of the Lord’s faithful love
we do not perish,
for His mercies never end.
They are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness!
I say: The Lord is my portion,
therefore I will put my hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:22–24

(It has been a holiday season of contrasts for me. While I’ve had a wonderful time with family and celebrating our Savior’s birth, the demands of creating a new Web site and giving attention to a house long neglected have at times created a stressed out and short-tempered mama.

Thank God for the grace of my husband and children! Thanks for your understanding, guys—and gal.)

Share in the Discussion: What do you feel God calling you to do in this new year? Are you on His path or trying to blaze your own?
By His Grace,

Julie

Thank you, Karen, for your enthusiasm for my site and for alerting me to the broken links. Both email subscription and RSS should now be up and functioning. If it still doesn’t work for you, please poke me again! Excited to have you on board.

Julie Sunne

Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I find it's easy for our day's blessings to get lost in its happenings. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.
