Begin Preparing Your Heart for Christmas [and Have Fun Doing It]

Gold Brush Stroke

Do you, like me, love the Christmas season? Do you embrace everything Christmas: the songs, the traditions, the family time, the lights and decorations, the food, yet long to find a way to pare the season down to a simpler, gentler time?

Do you never tire of celebrating the birth of our Savior and worshiping Him?

Then I have just the opportunity to share with you, my dear readers!

Higgs-Voskamp-Christmas 2013_640x300

Yes, that’s right! This is an invitation to an exclusive Christmas webcast with Ann Voskamp and Liz Curtis Higgs. [←Tweet this!]

Watch and listen on your computer on Thursday, November 21 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. eastern time (that’s 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for those of us in central time) at https://www.lizcurtishiggs.com/the-women-of-Christmas.

If you aren’t familiar with Ann and Liz, let me assure you, they are two gracious ladies.

  • Both breathe encouragement and inspiration by sharing from their heart and from their daily struggles.
  • Both write and speak poignantly and passionately about the amazing love of the Lord and point all who read or hear their words to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
  • And both have recently released books celebrating the sacred Christmas season.

The Greatest Gift: Unwrapping the Full Love Story Of Christmas by Ann Voskamp, published by Tyndale House

The Women of Christmas: Experience the Season Afresh with Elizabeth, Mary and Annaby Liz Curtis Higgs, published by WaterBrook Press

Ann has a lovely, poetic way with words and a unique gift of helping others see holiness in the dailiness of life. Liz is an incredible storyteller and Bible Study leader, a prolific writer, and an entertaining speaker.

The Christmas at the Farm webcast will be a wonderful way to begin preparing your heart to celebrate the birth of the Savior (and have fun doing it). Hope you can join in.

Watch the short trailer below to meet Liz and Ann and get a taste for what to expect from the webcast.

Be blessed!

By His Grace,

Julie

Hi there, sweet friend. Thank you for all your grace and vulnerability; I am always blessed to read your blog. Do you know if this webcast is available at any other time, or do you have to watch it live?

Hi Julie! If you can’t join live, the video will be available later. Click on the link and you can check back at that location later I believe. Excited for Thanksgiving, but the snow in the forecast is getting me in the Christmas spirit; this webcast will further add to that I’m sure. 🙂

Julie Sunne

Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I find it's easy for our day's blessings to get lost in its happenings. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.
